JOB PURPOSE:

To lead, plan, and execute national sales operations for Diagnostic BioSystems India. Responsible for driving revenue growth, building a strong sales network, ensuring profitability, and establishing DBS as a leading IHC brand across the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met across regions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth areas.

2. Revenue & Profitability

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive profitability through pricing strategies, cost control, and margin management.
  • Monitor and improve sales conversion rates.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage Business Managers / Sales Managers.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance culture with motivation and accountability.

4. Channel & Partner Management

  • Build and manage relationships with distributors and customers.
  • Optimize channel performance and resolve conflicts.
  • Expand channel network in untapped regions.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address escalated customer issues and feedback.
  • Implement CRM tools and processes for better engagement.

6. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Provide insights to product and marketing teams for strategic decisions.
  • Adjust sales tactics based on market dynamics.

7. Reporting & Compliance

  • Monitor sales reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Present performance updates to senior leadership.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams.
  • Align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Participate in trade shows and exhibitions.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience and a proven ability to exceed sales targets. Key experience includes developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and analyzing sales data and market trends. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are also essential, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in a related field like business or marketing in medical devices and pathology.

JOB PURPOSE:

To maintain and increase business of DBS INC. product in assigned territory, to build brand image for DBS Inc.

To monitor and increase sales and collection for the DBS Inc. product line and to increase customer base for the company by meeting all IHC customers in the territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Generate the sales (Antibodies, Detection Kits, and instruments) by meeting customers (Histopathologists, Purchase in charges, hospital authorities).

2.Identifying potential key opinion leaders for brand building.

3. Launch new products.

4. Create awareness of our product application and ensure demonstration of the products and application support.

5. Develop customer and ensure maximum usage of DBS Inc products in their laboratory.

6. Create ethical Business environment.

7. Ensure customer satisfaction for the performance of our products.

8. Ensure to cover all the customers by travelling entire assigned territory.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate/Postgraduate in Life Sciences – Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy with preferable 3-5 years of experience of sales/diagnostics sales/IVD/Pharma
