UV Safety Month!

UV Safety Awareness 2025

A reminder that even in summer, awareness is always in season.

Overexposure to UV rays is one of the leading causes of skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. It can also contribute to rare cancers like angiosarcoma, a type of soft tissue sarcoma that may occur on chronically sun-exposed areas, especially in older adults.

We encourage everyone to practice sun safety by using broad-spectrum sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding peak UV hours.

This July, let’s spread awareness, promote preventive care, and support accurate diagnosis through high-quality IHC solutions.
