Worldwide and annually, more than 500,000 new cases of esophageal cancers, approximately 900,000 new cases of head and neck cancer, and around 50,000 new cases of testicular cancer were diagnosed. The 5-year- survival rate for esophageal cancer, head and neck cancer, and testicular cancer are about 20%, 60%, and 96%, respectively. Immunohistochemistry plays a very important role in making diagnosis and differential diagnosis, classifying cancers, and help in making therapeutic decisions.
