• p16 – Both nuclear and cytoplasmic staining, and Important surrogate marker for HPV-associated oropharyngeal carcinoma
• p40 – Nuclear staining and Useful in identifying squamous cell carcinoma
• Cytokeratin 5/6 and AE1/AE3 – Cytoplasmic staining and supports squamous differentiation
• Ki-67 – Nuclear staining and Evaluates tumor proliferation activity
• S100 / SOX10 – Cytoplasmic and nuclear staining and Useful in salivary gland and neural crest-related tumors
• CD117 – Cytoplasmic staining and seen in selected salivary gland neoplasms
• NUT1 – Nuclear staining specifically for midline carcinoma.
